“Come As You Art”
The third annual Beaux-Art’s Ball at the Portland Art Museum is approaching on February 6th from 8:00-2:00 am. The Ball will be electrified by unbridled creativity, incorporating interactive art and performance and culminating in appearances by Seattle burlesque star Lily Verlaine, Gang of Four’s Dave Allen, and New York rock band Morningwood. The event will be hosted by the Young Patrons of the Portland Art Museum to help fund Museum education programs. The theme of the evening is Icon: Come as You Art, and guests are encouraged to let their own art icons inspire their attire. Guests may mingle with performers whose bodies are painted to resemble iconic works of art, and will enjoy hosted cocktails, beer and wine, and hors d’oeuvres.

Harlo Media Teams Up With The Amy Roloff Charity Foundation
In 2009, Amy Roloff founded the Amy Roloff Charity Foundation to raise funds for the Dwarf Athletic Association of America (DAAA) and other local Portland charities. The first charity benefit, The Amy Roloff & Michael Harper Charity Golf Benefit, took place September 13-14, 2009 at the Roloff Farms and Pumpkin Ridge Ghost Creek Golf Club.
Harlo Media makes it a priority to support local charity organizations, so when approached by the Amy Roloff Charity Foundation to assist with the first annual Charity Tee-Off Dinner and Golf Tournament Harlo Media jumped at the opportunity!

Old Town Block Party
THE FIRST ANNUAL…
OLD TOWN BLOCK PARTY!
The concept for the Old Town Block Party was sparked by an idea & the desire to re-hang the neighborhood’s historic Hung Far Low sign; a sign for a defunct restaurant that was deemed a public safety hazard. After coming together behind the common cause of historical importance, common goals and motivation, the creative juices starting flowing. How could an event come about to both celebrate the history of Old Town/Chinatown while showcasing the burgeoning creative community? The answer came naturally: a block party, highlighting the local businesses and agencies in the neighborhood, complete with live music, art, food and drink.
